Method for determination of breaking point of chemically stable and thermo-stable ceramic articles at elongation has holder and working sections. The holder section is arranged as two cylinders with diameter 50 mm and height 25 mm connected to each other with side surface by a rectangular prism with dimensions 25x25x25 mm , this is a working section of the sample, at that connection of cylindrical surfaces with rectangular prism is realized in such way that the length of the transitional section of the sample from the working to the holder ones is equal to 5 mm with radius R=16 mm, thus the total length of the sample is 135 mm.
