The invention relates to methods for manufacturing magnetic powder on the base of samarium-cobalt (Sm-Co) system, in particular alloy based on composition SmCo, SmCo, Sm(Co,T), where T- an alloying element, z = 7-8,5 with a high-dispersed anisotropic structure. The method provides mechanical-chemical and thermal treatment of alloy via grinding thereof hydride using a high-energetic grinding mill to partly decomposition ( disproportionation) of ferromagnetic phase or to that state where particles are steel anisotropic and heating grinding products in vacuum. Prior to grinding the alloy is overflowed under hydrogen pressure higher for a number of atmosphere in comparison to hydrogen desorption pressure. The alloy is grinded under hydrogen pressure in solid hydrogen atmosphere to hydrogen pressure, when ferromagnetic phase saturated hydride is available, mill rotation frequency is 100-600 rev./min. Duration of alloy grinding is 5 to 24 hours. Thermal treatment is performed in vacuum from 1 Pa to 10Pa under temperature of 500-950 °C, specifically 700-800 °C. Using the proposed method powders of alloys with crystalline particle size of 40-70 nm and texture parameter 0,014 are manufactured. |
