METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF TIGHTNESS OF SHELLS OF FUEL ELEMENTS OF FUEL ASSEMBLIES

摘要

Method for determination of tightness of shells of fuel elements of fuel assemblies includes measurement by means of detectors of γ-radiation of all energies for all the isotopes of cesium at while height of the fuel assembly. Data obtained come to spectrometer, then – to a computer complex by means of which one plots a tomogram for determination of relative dispersion of activity of the fuel elements. If relative dispersion of activity of a fuel element is changed more that by value of a set error, one makes conclusion on not-tightness of the shell of a fuel element of a fuel assembly.
