A method for decantation of essential oils behaves to industry of production initial distillate for separation of water and essential oil is supplied to an apparatus containing two coaxial cylinders, wherein a helical surface is located inside the inner cylinder along which the distillate is moving upwards. Through the open upper part of inner cylinder the distillate is passes to the outer cylinder, where essential oil is collected from above, and water is removed from below. Such method allows to intensify the separation process of water and essential oil. |
