A method for preparation of composition for embolization of polyvascularized neoplasms, which comprises the use of composition of substances, namely polymer, X-ray contrast substance and dimethylsulphoxide, and the preparation of composition is conducted at heating of polyvinyl alcohol with ehylene in dimethylsulphoxide at a temperature 60- during 2-3 hours with further dissolution of ethyl ether of 10 -(4-iodphenyl) undecanoic acid (Etiotrast) in said solution at room temperature.
