METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MESSAGE RETRANSMISSION IN VEHICULAR AD-HOC NETWORK

PURPOSE: A message retransmitting method and apparatus thereof in a VANET(Vehicular Ad-hoc NETwork) are provided to retransmit a broadcast message in a VANET environment. CONSTITUTION: In case a receiver receives the same message as a first message, a determining unit (S720) determines whether a road segment of the first message is the same as a road segment of the received message. The road segment of the first message is an identifier for identifying the road of the first road node. The road segment of the received message is an identifier for identifying the vehicle node. A controller retransmits the first message to a peripheral vehicle node.
