The invention relates to acoustics and meant for generation of acoustic waves in gaseous (air) atmosphere and can be used for generation of acoustic waves including waves perceiving by a human ear for everyday and industry purposes. The device for generation of acoustic waves comprises an ionization electrode made of conductive material, which is performed as a flat surface or a flat bar or a sphere and at least one control electrode made of conductive material, which may be made as a flat surface or as a closed surface ( cylindrical or spherical shape). Depending on shape of ionization and control electrodes they are located parallel, concentrically or coaxially. A surface of ionization electrode comprises projections of big curve, for example needle shape, point of which is directed to control electrode side. The said electrode is made sound transparent due to holes made as a grid, its surface is covered with a layer of material with high specific resistance, for example synthetic covering based on epoxide resins or other which are used for said purposes in electric engineering, or includes zones which formed by altering dielectric and conductor, dielectric is made, by example, of polyethylene or vinyl or other material used for said purpose in electric engineering, material of control electrode is used as conductor. The total surface aria of dielectric surface is exceeded conductor surface aria. The proposed device for acoustic wave generation provides generation of acoustic waves of greater power with lesser probability of breakdown and lesser generation of ozone and other chemical compounds. |
