CUTTING TOOL WITH TWO-LAYER NANOCRYSTAL COATING

摘要

The invention relates to the application of wear resistance coatings on working surfaces of cutting tool and can be used in metal-working industry at tool production. A cutting tool with two-layer nanocrystal coating containing toll base of solid alloy and wear resistance ion-plasma coating with thickness of 6.0 µm, which made as the bottom layer of coating directly applied on surface of tool base with thickness of 0.5 µm, of titanium and top enveloping layer of coating of nanocrystal titanium, hafnium and silicon nitrides. The invention provides the increased resistance coefficient of cutting tool which allows to widen of nomenclature of difficult-to-cut material.
