METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF POTENTIAL GAS RECOVERY OF COAL SEAMS

Method for determination of potential gas recovery of coal seams includes drilling of geological survey wells, measurement of natural gas content of coal seams by data of geological survey by means of core-gas-samplers, sampling coal in places of carrying out prediction of potential gas recovery for determination of natural humidity and ash content of coal, laboratory determination of those parameters (natural humidity and ash content), with determination of natural gas recovery of coal seams with correction to humidity of those and ash content by a formula. One sets depth of prediction of potential gas recovery of coal seams with account of which one determines potential gas recovery of those by a respective formula.
