A method for making a whey concentrate providing for defatting the whey, condensing and desalting thereof by nanofiltering, diafiltering the whey concentrate. Defatting of the whey is carried out by microfiltering, condensing and desalting a microfiltrate is carried out by nanofiltering, at a difference of pressures of 1.6-2.5 MPa and a temperature of 15-25 °C, and for diafiltering a reversely osmotic permeate is used. The latter is obtained by condensing the nanofiltering permeate by reverse osmosis, and diafiltering of the whey concentrate is carried out in two stages at a difference of pressures of 1.6-2.5 MPa and a temperature of 15-25 °C up to a concentration of dry matters of 12.5-18.0 %. |
