A method for producing nanodispersed silica includes interaction of aqueous silica-containing raw material with aqueous solution of acidulant and subsequent isolation and drying the finished product. Solution of silica-containing raw material is obtained by adding into filtered water of sodium silicate with silicate modulus of 2.8-3.7, at careful mixing, heating to and maintaining the density of the solution at 1.09 g/cmat least. Aqueous solution of acidulant is obtained by adding to the filtered water of acidulant with careful mixing and maintaining the density of the solution at 1.02 g/cmat least. Isolation and drying the finished product are made ​​by a sharp decrease of pressure in the environment of gel formed at interaction of aqueous silica-containing raw material with aqueous solution of acidulant, after preliminary maturation of gel for at least 20 minutes.
