PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to prevent the flow of the excess current on a current collector, and to prevent the curving or the breakage of a fuse unit on the current collector. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) comprises the following: an electrode assembly(110) including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator; a first current collector(120) electrically connected to the first electrode; a second current collector(130) electrically connected to the second electrode; a case(140) for storing the electrode assembly, the first current collector, and the second current collector; and a cap assembly(170) for sealing the case.
