DEFLECTOR FOR DRILLING WELLS BY ROTOR METHOD

FIELD: gas and oil production. ^ SUBSTANCE: deflector consists of drill string with bit. A clutch travelling both along and around axis of the deflector is positioned above the bit. An orifice for passage of the drill string is set off relative to centre of the clutch. The clutch is ribbed. On clutch ribs there are arranged bearing surfaces. Diametre of the clutch is equal to diametre of the bit. Due to deflection of axis of the drill string from axis of the well such design of the clutch facilitates change of drilling direction. ^ EFFECT: simple and reliable design of deflector. ^ 2 dwg
