The method involves inputting data relative to a user, and recording the input data in a database associated with a computer server. An emergency scenario is programmed by using an emergency scenario configuration and storing terminal, and an alarm is triggered by using a mobile telephone i.e. smartphone. The alarm is transmitted to a remote server through the telephone, geolocalization of the user is carried out, and the stored emergency scenario is automatically sequenced. An independent claim is also included for a system for triggering and managing a medical and/or personal emergency alarm.
