The device has an electric connector (1) formed of part (10) connected to a battery and another part (20) connected to a motorized vehicle and/or electric charging unit, where the parts have a parallelepiped outer shape. The former part is fixed on an outer wall of the battery. The latter part is fixed and housed in a connection unit (3) formed of elements (5, 6) destined to connect and guide the former part, so that the former part is adapted to slide in the connection unit and engage with the latter part for electric connection at interior of the unit. An independent claim is also included for a method of connection and disconnection of battery to and/or from a motorized vehicle and/or an electric charging unit of batteries.
