PURPOSE: A composition containing Acanthopanax senticosus fruit extract is provided to ensure antioxidation and to remove reactive oxygen. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating gout and hypertension contains Acanthopanax senticosus fruit extract as an active ingredient. A composition for preventing and treating gout, hypertension, and cancer contains anthocyanin red pigment of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient, isolate from the Acanthopanax senticosus fruit extract. A method for isolating the Acanthopanax senticosus fruit extract comprises: a step of drying Acanthopanax senticosus fruit at room temperature(less than 30 °C) for 24 hours and pulverizing to prepare dry powder; a step of dipping the dry powder into water, alcohol, or alcohol solution and isolating at room temperature; and a step of filtering to remove impurities.
