PURPOSE: A printing apparatus for an automatic medicine packing machine and an automatic medicine packing machine therewith are provided to easily replace a ribbon tape by ascending a thermal print head. CONSTITUTION: A printing apparatus for an automatic medicine packing machine comprises a fixed plate(10), a movable plate(20), and a ribbon cartridge(30). The fixed plate is fixed to the bottom of a main body of an automatic medicine packing machine. The movable plate is movably installed in the fixed plate. The ribbon cartridge is detachably installed in the movable plate and has a ribbon tape(31). A drive reel(32) and a driven reel(33) are rotatably installed in the ribbon cartridge. The ribbon tape is wound around the drive reel and is unwound from the driven reel.
