PURPOSE: A motor and the drive controller of a compressor including the same are provided to enhance the safety of a system by including a overload protector capable of blocking a power source when generating overload. CONSTITUTION: A converter(20) changes an alternating current of common electricity(10) into direct current voltage. A smoothing capacitor(30) smooths the direct current voltage and outputs. A inverter(40) changes the direct current voltage which is smoothed into driving voltage of a motor and outputs. A overload protector(71) is included between a plus terminal of the smoothing capacitor and an input terminal of the inverter. The overload protector is included between an output terminal and a minus terminal of the smoothing capacitor. The overload protector secludes connection between inverter and the smoothing capacitor when generating overload.
