PURPOSE: A content controlling method and a display device using the same are provided to supply UI(User Interface) for easily controlling contents by performing functions about the contents based on a drag and drop operation. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(150) receives a drag and drop operation for dragging an image corresponding to a first content and a first area corresponding to functions. A control unit(160) performs functions which correspond to the first area with regard to the first content. The interface unit receives an input for adding or deleting the functions corresponding to the first area. A display unit(180) displays information about the previously performed functions.
