PURPOSE: A vehicle skidding prevention system and a control method thereof are provided to use an EPB(Electronic Parking Brake) in a vehicle equipped with an ABS(Anti-lock Braking System) unit, thereby providing an HHC(Hill Hold Control) function without an additional part. CONSTITUTION: The slope of a vehicle is detected in an EPB(Electronic Parking Brake) unit(120). A vehicle stop state is determined in the EPB unit through a signal inputted from an ABS(Anti-lock Braking System) unit(110). The wheels of a vehicle is restrained in the EPB unit through an actuator(122). A pedal of the vehicle is withdrawn. The wheel of the vehicle is released through the actuator. |
