PURPOSE: An insulating electric wire containing an insulation coating layer with excellent film adhesion property is provided to secure excellent reliability when weld-processing by supplying the insulation coating layer. CONSTITUTION: An insulating electric wire(10) includes the following: a conductor(11) and more than two layers of insulating coating layers formed on the outside of the conductor; an outermost layer(13) of the insulating coating layers containing a polyimide based resin; and a base insulating layer(12) contacting the conductor, and containing a polyamideimide resin with an adhesion property enhancer.
