PURPOSE: A salt bath material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to show uniform reaction in a salt bath path since a salt bath material is manufactured through a thermal treating process, so spent salt is applied and low-temperature melting point is maintained. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a salt bath material comprises next steps. A primary material, caustic soda solution, is heated at a temperature of 150°C~250°C and is concentrated until the content of moisture becomes 8~15weight%. A secondary material, NaCl, is added to the concentrated primary material, and is heated at a temperature of 200°C~420°C to be agitated. A third material, NaNO3, is added to the agitated material, and is heated at a temperature of 360°C~500°C. The content of the secondary material is 8~15 parts by weight for the caustic soda of 100 parts by weight. |
