<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain continuous linear light emission in a linear light-emitting device constituted by connecting a plurality of light-emitting units. <P>SOLUTION: Respective light-emitting units to constitute the linear light-emitting device include: a laser diode arranged at one end; a long light guide, a wavelength converting member extending in the longitudinal direction along the light guide; and a first reflecting structure on the bottom face of the light guide. In a connecting part between the light-emitting units, at least either one of mutually neighboring two light-emitting units is equipped with a second reflecting structure to reflect the output light of the laser diode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
