OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device having a mechanism that allows inspection of a half mirror while suppressing a decrease in mechanical strength of a housing.

SOLUTION: An optical pickup device 10 houses various optical elements inside a housing 12 including a resin material formed by injection molding. An exposure part 32 of a half mirror 22 as one of the optical elements is exposed externally from a bottom part 34 of the housing 12. A reflection plane of the exposure part 32 faces outside via a groove part 30 formed by deforming the bottom part 34 of the housing 12 into a groove form from outside. For confirmation of the installation angle of the half mirror 22, the half mirror 22 is irradiated with a beam from an autocollimator via the groove part 30.
