<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a register collision sound when the tip of a paper sheet collides with a register roller, without reducing print productivity and the register function. <P>SOLUTION: This paper feeding-carrying device includes a paper feeding means for feeding the paper sheet by separating the paper sheets one by one, a carrying means for carrying the paper sheet in a carrying passage and the register roller for sending the paper sheet into an image transfer part in the predetermined timing. A decelerating member for reducing linear velocity of a tip part of the paper sheet and an opposed means opposed to the member, are arranged on the upstream side of the register roller and the downstream side of the carrying means, and the decelerating member is connected to a driving means. The decelerating member is not constant in a distance up to an outer peripheral surface from its rotary shaft, and the carrying means is not decelerated. Before the paper sheet tip butts against the register roller, the decelerating member is rotatably controlled so that linear velocity of a long diameter outer peripheral surface most separated from its rotary shaft, becomes slower than linear velocity of the paper sheet by the carrying means, and the problem is solved by sandwiching the paper sheet by the long diameter outer peripheral surface and the opposed means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
