<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow removal system for vehicles which prevents snow coverage which deteriorates performance or the like of a sensor or the like while preventing consumption of waste energy. <P>SOLUTION: The snow removal system is provided to a self-vehicle, and includes: a position information acquisition means for acquiring position information on the self-vehicle; a meteorological information acquisition means for acquiring meteorological information on an area including a position of the self-vehicle; a determination means for determining whether or not the position information on the self-vehicle is relevant to a snowfall area based on the meteorological information on the area acquired by the meteorological information acquisition means and the position information on the self-vehicle acquired by the position information acquisition means; a snow removal means for removing the snow coverage to the self-vehicle; and a control means for controlling the snow removal means at least based on a determination result by the determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
