<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular flame burner which has reduced wall surface temperature at a barrel part in a combustion chamber while maintaining combustion property and is therefore inexpensive and is excellent in the durability. <P>SOLUTION: The tubular flame burner includes: the tubular combustion chamber in which one side end part is an opening end and the other side end part is a closed end; and a combustion gas blowing nozzle and an oxygen-containing gas blowing nozzle which are disposed toward the tangential direction of an inner wall surface in the combustion chamber. In the tubular flame burner, the combustion chamber comprises: a conical part having a pipe diameter which gradually increases toward the closed end side from the opening end; and a barrel part which is continuous with the conical part and has a pipe diameter larger than the opening end, wherein the expansion ratio of a pipe diameter of the barrel part to the pipe diameter of the opening end is 1.25 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
