<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a light distribution pattern suitable for cornering without causing glare against an oncoming vehicle, and without increasing a light chamber size and cost. <P>SOLUTION: A headlight 1 for a two-wheeled vehicle includes: a bulb 2 to have a filament 21; a reflector 3 to reflect light emitted from the bulb 2; a shade 4 to shield a portion of the light reflected by the reflector 3; and a projector lens 5 to project the light except one portion shielded by the shade 4 out of the light reflected by the reflector 3 ahead the vehicle. In the projector lens 5, a prism part 51 is formed in order to refract one portion of the light incident into the projector lens 5, and to irradiate it diagonally ahead of the vehicle upward a cut-off line C of the upper end of a low-beam light distribution pattern P1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
