<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for inspecting an electric object, without damaging the object and the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for acquiring a plurality of images of an object includes a plurality of lateral transfer devices 110, 120, 130, 140 each including a plurality of lateral transfer device parts made to transfer an object in the lateral direction to lateral-direction imaging areas 510, 520, 530, 540 respectively, with each of the lateral transfer device parts including an object receiver and a transfer element that causes the object receiver to move to the imaging areas 510, 520, 530, 540 respectively unless it receives a resistance exceeding a specified resistance; and an imaging device 30 constructed to acquire the images of two side faces of the object each facing the opposite directions when the object is disposed in the lateral-direction imaging areas 510, 520, 530, 540. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
