<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which can efficiently perform washing by measuring the hardness (electric conductivity) of water to be used for washing with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The washing machine includes a housing 2, an outer tub 9, a washing/dewatering tub 8, a drive unit 10, water supply means 12, laundry amount determination means 114, electric conductivity detection means 40 for detecting the electric conductivity of water to be used for washing, temperature detection means 26b for detecting a water temperature, and operation control means 112 capable of performing a washing operation. In the washing machine, the operation control means 112 controls a detergent amount and/or washing time on the basis of the laundry amount determined by the laundry amount determination means 114, the electric conductivity of water detected by the electric conductivity detection means 40, and the water temperature detected by the temperature detection means 26b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
