<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system that suppresses wasteful power consumption at occurrence of an error in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that an error occurs that needs to be released by an operator in an image forming apparatus 201 in an image forming system 10 while the operator is not present and the image forming apparatus 201 is inoperable due to the error, a shutdown processing means 109 of the image forming apparatus performs shutdown process of the image forming apparatus and a power shutdown control means 111 shuts down the power supply to all the units of the image forming apparatus 201. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
