<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character processor, etc. with which a user can arrange characters in a printing area in a predetermined shape such as a circle as intended. <P>SOLUTION: A character processor determines character arrangement in a printing area E10 in a predetermined shape by arranging, in the printing area E10, an item area E20, which is an area for including and arranging one or more character arrangement areas E30 for arranging one or more characters.
