<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can save wasted electric power consumption and increase operability of a device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 101 includes a plurality of devices, a detecting unit 102 for detecting each one of functions executed by the plurality of the devices and specifying a number of execution of each of the functions, an acquiring unit 110 for specifying and storing a use state of each of the plurality of the devices on the basis of the number of execution, a priority determining unit 116 for determining a priority of each of the devices on the basis of the use state, a power-saving mode determining unit 117 for selecting one of a plurality of power-saving modes corresponding to each of the devices on the basis of the priority, and a control unit 120 for controlling each of the devices on the basis of the selected power-saving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
