<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the effectiveness of power saving by preventing a factor in a prior art that restricts the effectiveness of power saving from being generated. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 110 monitors ON/OFF of an AC power source using a sensor 172, and obtains the status such as an operating state of an operating section 140. If a transition condition is satisfied, mode is changed between normal mode and power-saving mode. In order to maximize the power-saving level, the AC power source is turned off, a power source selector 177 selects a secondary battery 179 instead of a PSU 175 for supplying DC power to the controller 110. In charging the secondary battery 179, an ON/OFF control signal for charging and a control signal is received from the controller 110, the control signal showing whether the power is supplied from the PSU 175 or the controller 110, that is, a communication I/F control section 115 as an external interface, to determine the supply source based on the control signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
