<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase forming method of an eccentric workpiece to accurately form a phase even when face roughness and roundness of a measurement object is low and a device therefor, and to provide a workpiece supply method for transferring the workpiece to a cylindrical grinding machine while keeping a posture determined by a phase forming device and starting the cylindrical grinding machine while keeping the posture, and a device therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The phase forming method of the eccentric workpiece and the device therefor hold the eccentric workpiece by a chuck with a rotating part, measure the displacement of the eccentric part of the workpiece corresponding to a rotating angle while rotating the eccentric workpiece without contact, and calculate the phase shift amount of the eccentric part by trigonometric function approximation on measured displacement data. In the workpiece supply method and the device therefor, a carrying device for carrying the eccentric workpiece phase-formed by the phase-forming device before grinding to the cylindrical grinding machine to be separated into a chuck part side and a fixed part side through a spring mechanism, and the workpiece is transferred while keeping the posture of the eccentric workpiece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
