<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus which is simple in configuration and easy to use. <P>SOLUTION: The portable electronic apparatus comprises: a first housing having a display section positioned on a surface thereof; a second housing having an operation section positioned on a surface thereof and movable in a sliding direction with the surface having the operation section facing the surface having the display section; a first magnet which is made of a sheet permanent magnet and positioned on the surface opposite to the surface of the first housing having the display section; and a second magnet which is made of a sheet permanent magnet and positioned on the surface of the second housing having the operation section. The first and the second magnets have a plurality of north poles and south poles extending in the sliding direction, and at least one end face of the north poles that is parallel to the sliding direction is arranged in contact with the south poles, thereby attaining the object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
