<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a programmable controller capable of setting optimum pulses for driving and sustaining output circuits regardless of types of the output circuits. <P>SOLUTION: A programmable controller comprises a programmable controller body 10 for driving an external load and an extension I/O unit 20 or the like. In the programmable controller, the programmable controller body 10 includes: output circuits 13 and 15 for outputting a signal for driving the external load; a CPU 11 for outputting an output command; and input-output interface circuits 12, 14 for identifying characteristic information for the output circuits, setting an output form corresponding to the characteristic information, and outputting a driving pulse and a sustain pulse to the output circuits 13 and 15 in accordance with the set output form on the basis of the output command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
