PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the positions of a light source and a coupling lens accurately and easily.

SOLUTION: A light source apparatus 100 comprises: a light source (a semiconductor laser 110); a coupling lens 120 for converting a laser light from the light source into a light flux; a holding member 130 for holding the coupling lens 120; and a frame 140 to which the holding member 130 is fixed. The holding member 130 includes a cylindrical main body 131 for holding the coupling lens 120; and a pair of first protrusion portions 132 which protrudes from two points on the outer peripheral surface of the main body 131 and constitutes a fixing surface located on the same plane to be fixed to the frame 140.
