摘要 <p>In order to enable stable traveling even if one electric motor out of two electric motors stops, disclosed is an electric vehicle (1) which comprises first and second driving systems for transmitting braking/driving force outputted from first and second electric motors (3) to left and right wheels on the front wheel side and the rear wheel side via differentials (4) capable of controlling power distribution to right and left, said electric vehicle (1) being provided with an acceleration sensor (26) for detecting the accelerations in the longitudinal direction, lateral direction, and turning direction of a vehicle (25), a failure detection unit for detecting the occurrence of a failure in which braking/driving force cannot be outputted from the electric motors (3), and a control unit for finding the respective acceleration change rates from the accelerations in the longitudinal direction, lateral direction, and turning direction detected by the acceleration sensor (26) when the failure detection unit detects the occurrence of the failure, and controlling the first or second driving system on the side on which the failure does not occur so that the acceleration in the direction corresponding to the highest acceleration change rate among the acceleration change rates becomes a value before the occurrence of the failure.</p>
