<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in weight of an elevator car. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator includes: a storage battery device 60 provided in a car 10; and an electricity supply device 70 arranged in a shaft 105 to supply electricity to the storage battery device 60. The storage battery device 60 is attached to and removed from a car floor receiving frame 31 arranged so as to support a car floor 15 of the car 10 in a lower part, and supplies power to an electric device arranged inside or outside the car room.
