<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed and a floorboard which do not make a user feel a sense of incongruence in terms of design even when installed at home while a back lifting function and a floor height adjusting function are provided. <P>SOLUTION: The bed 1 includes a floorboard 2 for mounting a futon or a mattress. The floorboard 2 has rotary parts 2i, 2j for tilting a back part. The bed 1 includes at least two props 7, 8 in the longitudinal direction for mounting the floorboard 2 and an angle of inclination adjusting member 9 inserted between the two props 7, 8, and the floorboard 2.
