<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop valve that facilitates inserting a core into a hole, and its installation method. <P>SOLUTION: A stop valve 10 includes a case 2 which communicates with a hole Q formed on a fluid tube 1 and covers the outer periphery of the fluid tube 1 for sealing, a valve body 5 to be operated by rotation of a rotating screw 4 that does not rise, through the hole Q in the case 2, and a cylindrical core 40 which is inserted in the hole Q and through which the valve body 5 can be inserted. The flow path of the fluid tube 1 can be closed or opened. The core 40 includes an engagement part 41a which engages with the inside surface of the fluid tube 1 near the hole Q. When the valve body 5 closes the flow path after the hole Q is formed, the core is detachably fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the valve body 5, to approach the hole Q together with the valve body 5, and is inserted into the hole Q as the engagement part 41a engages with the insert surface of the fluid tube 1, and is removed from the valve body 5 while inserted in the hole Q when the valve body 5 opens the flow path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
