<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of an image processing load and acquisition of coordinates showing an accurate indicating position even when a controller is operated in its rotated state. <P>SOLUTION: A gun game apparatus includes: a plurality of infrared LEDs 18 disposed at spaces from each other in the periphery of a display 12; a control device 16 for sequentially lighting the plurality of infrared LEDs 18 individually; and a gun controller 14 provided with an infrared image sensor 30 for photographing each image when the plurality of infrared LEDs 18 are individually lighted by the control device 16 and an arithmetic unit for detecting the position of the LED index corresponding to the infrared LED 18 from each photographed image, calculating the position of a virtual LED index approximating the position when another infrared LED 18 is lighted on the basis of the positions of two or more times LED indexes for every infrared LED 18, and calculating the coordinates with reference to the position of the LED index and the position of the virtual LED index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
