<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a plurality of oscillation cycles executed in one symbol oscillation game, which increases player's excitement and enjoyment of a game. <P>SOLUTION: When a specific variation content is determined as a variation content of a present symbol variation game, and a first presentation mode is set in a previous symbol variation game, an overall CPU transfers a game to a second presentation mode in a prior variation cycle of a plurality of variation cycles in the present symbol variation game, transfers the game to a third presentation mode in the last variation cycle, and transfers the game to a fourth presentation mode after the end of the present symbol variation game.
