<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device superior in cheat prevention capability, and thereby provide a game machine having high crime prevention capability. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes a board box 8 storing a control board. The board box 8 has: a base 10 wherein a front plate 12 located on the front side has sidewalls 13 protrudingly formed therefrom, when a front of the installed board box is defined to be a game player side; a lid 11 joined to the base 10 wherein a rear plate 14 located on the rear side has sidewalls 15 protrudingly formed therefrom; a seal 30 which seals the mutually joined base 10 and lid 11 by being adhered while traversing a boundary of them; and a cover member 38 which protects the sealed seal 30. The board box has: a box display unit (59, 60) formed on the lid 11 and/or the base 10; and a cover member display unit 63 formed on the cover member 38.
