PORTABLE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND POWER CONSUMPTION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic equipment and power consumption control method capable of avoiding a battery power degradation even while charging the power without user's manipulation.

SOLUTION: A portable electronic equipment comprises: a charging means for charging a secondary battery; a current consumption detection means for detecting a current consumption from the secondary battery; a charging current detection means for detecting a charging current to be charged with the secondary battery; and a notification means for notifying an user of a condition when the charging current is not greater than the value adding a prescribed value to the current consumption.
