<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent molten glass from fusing to a mold. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing glass substrate includes the steps of: preparing an upper mold 100 having a pressing surface 100A and a lower mold 200 arranged facing the upper mold 100, which lower mold includes a peripheral mold 220 having a pressing surface 220A and a center mold 210 having an approximately circular pressing surface 210A rougher than the pressing surface 220A; supplying the molten glass on the lower mold 200; and molding an approximately circular glass substrate by pressing the molten glass between the upper mold 100 and the lower mold 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
