<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube pump and a liquid ejection apparatus, capable of strongly discharging a liquid from an opening having sucked the liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The tube pump includes: a tube 65 having a base end opening 65a and a front end opening 65b, and also having at least an elastic intermediate part 62c in the length direction; a pump frame 63 having a supporting surface 63d for supporting the intermediate part 62c along its length direction; a pressing roller 77 rotatable about a drive axis 75; and an on-off valve 69 opening and closing the base end opening 65a. The pressing roller 77 rotates in the direction to approach to the front end opening 65b in the length direction of the tube 65 while crushing the intermediate part 62c in the tube 65 in the state of the on-off valve 69 being opened, and then also rotate in the direction to approach to the base end opening 65a in the length direction of the tube 65 while crushing the intermediate part 62c in the tube 65, by closing the on-off valve 69.
