<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image holding body for an image forming apparatus having a low variation in residual potential due to repeated usage. <P>SOLUTION: The image holding body for an image forming apparatus comprises a supporting body and a photosensitive layer containing a compound represented by the following general formula (I) on the supporting body. In the general formula, Rs<SP POS="POST">1</SP>each independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, where "Ar" represents a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon group having 2 to 10 aromatic rings, a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent condensed aromatic hydrocarbon group having 2 to 10 aromatic rings, or a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent aromatic heterocyclic group, "q" represents 0 or 1, and "n" each independently represents 0 to 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
