<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger car for an elevator which easily prevents waterdrops from entering through a draw-out part for a cable coming from an operation panel. <P>SOLUTION: A cable draw-out opening 13, 13A, 13B is formed in a sidewall of the operation panel 7. A waterproof cover 14, 14-1, 14-2 which covers an upper part and side parts of the cable draw-out opening on the outer side of the operation panel 7, and opens downward is arranged. After the cable 9, 9a, 9b coming from the operation panel is drawn out downward through the cable draw-out opening, it is extended upward and is connected to a control box 8 arranged on a ceiling of the car. By this structure, the waterdrops coming along the cable are allowed to drop, and the waterdrops coming along the sidewall of the control panel are allowed to drop from the waterproof cover.
